• It was after Hal found her and the rest of the Lost Lanterns and they were back on Oa. He showed up at her room and wouldn’t stop apologizing for what happened when he was possessed by Parallax. Laira kissed him to get him to stop talking.

Where were they their first time having sex?

• On Oa, at Warrior’s, in a stairwell, months after the Third Law had been implemented. Neither one of them had really talked with the other after the law had gone into effect and things finally reached their breaking point.

Who’s louder?

• Laira. It’s one of the few times she actually lets go.

Who wakes up first?

• Laira does. She likes to meditate in the morning to clear her head of anything strenuous from the day before. Hal’s not above pulling her back in if he has to. Most mornings he does.

• Sparring. Neither one of them enjoys being submissive and that aspect of their relationship transcends from sparring to the intimate portion of it.

• They’ve both got scars from battles. And they make a point to pay some sort of attention to at least one on each other during sex. Doesn’t matter how big or how small. One always gets a caress or a kiss. Something.

• Happy. Just happy. And they don’t particularly care what anyone else thinks or has to say.

How careful are they about using protection?

• The first time they had sex, they didn’t have any sort of protection. They’ve been extremely careful from then on, though.

What’s a fantasy of one that the other will never be able/willing to fulfill?

• No lovemaking in deep water. Shower/bathtub = fine. But Laira’s brother tried to drown her when she was young and, as a result of the experience, she isn’t fond of being in water that goes over her head.
